Communications Intern / Associate

I worked with JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) on the Boeing account. I supported initiatives that aligned with JLL’s mission to provide technology-driven, efficient and sustainable solutions for building operations.

I helped facilitate internal communications and engagement programs that supported JLL and Boeing’s teams across multiple sites, ensuring that employees had access to the resources, updates and guidance they needed to collaborate effectively and maintain operational excellence.

  • Title: Communications Intern (June-August 2025) | Communications Associate (August-December 2025)

    Account: Boeing — Managed account wide efforts for Boeing sites across the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast and West.

    Location: Worked on-site in North Charleston, South Carolina during the summer and remotely while completing my master’s program asynchronously in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

    • Recognized with the JLL Work Dynamics Award as the sole aviation recipient from 300+ interns

    • Boosted internal engagement and visibility across the Boeing account through employee recognition programs, intern development program and account-wide communications 

    • Produced and maintained digital resources, formatting internal and client-facing presentations, SharePoint content, quick reference guides and branded templates

    • Supported the development of speakers’ confidence, helping team members effectively communicate in meetings and presentations

    • Promoted from to Communications Intern to Communications Associate for leadership, collaboration and strategic contributions

    • Support Internal Communication and Campaigns: Assist in coordination, drafting, editing and scheduling internal announcements. Help create engaging content that aligns with account brand messaging to enhance employee engagement. Support communication initiatives, including recognition programs and company updates.

    • Enhance Digital Communication Platforms: Contribute to updating and organizing content on SharePoint, Teams and other internal communication channels. Organize, update and maintain internal SharePoint site to ensure employee have access to the latest resources. Review and refresh outdated content, upload new account documents and improve navigation for better user experience.

    • Distribution List Management: Maintain and update the internal master distribution list to ensure accurate and efficient communication across teams.

    • Account Project Support: Assist with key account initiatives by coordinating materials, tracking action items, and providing support as needed. Contribute to special projects.

    • Meeting Facilitation Support: Help prepare agendas, take detailed notes and track action items for internal meetings. Support department and team members by ensuring smooth facilitation and timely follow-ups.

    • Storytelling and Photo Collection: Gather account stories, testimonials and highlights to showcase company culture and successes. Capture and organize photos for internal communications, digital platforms and recognition programs
